The Details Nobody Teaches

Backstroke starts. Open turns. IM transitions. Breaststroke pullouts. These are the skills that separate swimmers who place from swimmers who watch. They’re also the skills most coaches rush through in practice because there’s never enough time. This clinic gives your swimmer a full weekend of focused, detailed work on the technical elements that most programs skip. When the swimmer next to them loses half a second on a sloppy backstroke-to-breast transition, your swimmer will be pulling ahead.

Deep Dive: 5 Core Skills

Body Position

Head-spine alignment, hip height, and the core engagement that makes every other skill in this clinic possible.

Backstroke Starts

Wedge positioning, flag awareness, grip, launch angle, and the underwater phase off the wall. A skill most swimmers never properly learn.

Open Turns

Touch timing, body rotation at the wall, foot placement, and explosive push-off for breaststroke and butterfly walls.

IM Transitions

Fly-to-back, back-to-breast, breast-to-free — seamless stroke changes that maintain speed instead of killing it.

Breaststroke Pullouts

The pull, the kick, the glide, the breakout. Timing each phase to maximize distance underwater and surface with speed.
