Here’s a secret most swimmers don’t learn until it’s too late: the fastest part of every race isn’t the swimming, it’s the start, the turns, and the underwater work. That’s where tenths of a second live. This clinic focuses exclusively on the moments that separate good swimmers from great ones: explosive block starts, tight flip turns, and powerful underwater breakouts. When your swimmer nails these, everything else gets faster.
The Skill Breakdown
Body Position & Streamline
The foundation of everything. Tight streamline, locked core, head position, the platform that makes starts, turns, and underwaters work.
Block Starts
Stance, reaction, drive angle, entry, every phase of a powerful start that puts you ahead from the first moment.
Flip Turns
Approach speed, tuck timing, wall contact, push-off angle. Turn the wall into a launchpad, not a speed bump.
Underwaters & Breakouts
Dolphin kick depth, tempo, body line, and the breakout transition. This is the fastest you’ll ever move in the water. Maximize it.
